To support our rapid growth, we are seeking talented, motivated engineers to join our technology center at San Mateo. You must bring a passion for programming and developing innovative solutions. As a senior software engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with a powerful web application using some of the latest technologies. You will work closely with BigMachines development team to build and deploy the LFE solution.

Duties: |
Architect, extend and develop the BigMachines LFE software used in the transformation and presentation of dynamic data using Java, J2EE and XML-based technologies.
Must be a strong programmer able to work at all levels from the presentation layer through to underlying java framework.
Experienced in analyzing and resolving problems and optimize performance of complex web-based systems.
Must be a strong team member and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications: |
MS/BS in Computer Science or Engineering or the equivalent
3-5+ years strong coding experience in Java, JSP, Servlets, Web Services, XML/XSL
Experience with RDBMS systems and SQL and/or data access methodologies
Experience with and an architectural perspective on Java frameworks such as Struts, Spring, Hibernate, etc
Strong presentation-layer skills with any of object-oriented JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX, or other presentation frameworks
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to take ownership and juggle multiple projects and tasks
Ability to work against tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
