Description: |
| The Staff Psychologist conducts intakes, individual, group and family therapy including: initial clinical assessments, diagnosis, clinical treatment planning and implementation, referral and termination. Conducts comprehensive psychological testing/assessments as assigned. Conducts parent education programs and family support groups. Collaborates and consults with school personnel to identify students who would benefit from mental health services and develop an integrated approach to treatment. Must be able to meet the productivity standards, be available for client emergencies, be able to maintain clinical charts and complete program paperwork. |
Qualifications: |
Ph.D. in clinical psychology from an accredited school. Must be eligible to receive “waivered” status from the Department of Mental Health. Must become a registered psychologist with the California Board of Psychology. Must be able to develop reasonable, appropriate treatment plans, as well as clinical programs to meet the needs of the clients served.
