Description: |
| The Phone Screener is primarily responsible for conducting telephone interviews with callers requesting mental health services from our clinic. The Phone Screener further gathers information to evaluate for appropriateness of treatment at this agency or to make appropriate referrals outside of our agency. Identifies crisis situations and refers to Crisis Response or On-Call clinician when needed. Prepares or assists in preparing financial and clinical paperwork for intake process. |
Qualifications: |
| Minimum High School diploma or equivalent, with some education or experience in human or psychological services as obtained by a minimum of 2 years experience in this type of work setting. Bilingual in English / Spanish a must. Computer literate in Microsoft Word. Ability to type 50-55 wpm. Knowledge of psychological terminology. |
