Description:

The Mental Health Specialist is responsible for providing treatment to children / adolescents and their families in the Child Abuse Prevention, Trauma and Early Intervention Program. Conducts individual, group and family therapy. May have supervisory responsibilities in a group therapy setting. Conducts outreach counseling and prevention activities in the schools as needed. Maintains the necessary community / professional contacts, prepares necessary documents in a timely manner. Must meet productivity standards set by the Division Manager.

Qualifications:

M.A., M.S.W. Ph.D. or Psy.D. in mental health field. At least one year specialized experience in child abuse treatment. Bilingual Spanish/English a must.
