| The Recreation Therapist is primarily responsible for providing a specialized therapeutic modality to improve adaptive functioning consistent with the goals of the After School Program to school aged children. These include skills in the area of self-care, daily living, communication, and social skills. Must meet the standard minimum amount of billable services required for the position. Completes all required DMH paperwork. Drives Center’s vehicle as needed. Must maintain a valid Driver’s License. |
Qualifications: |
A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Recreation Therapy. Two years experience working with children and / or adolescents. Must have State and National certification within 2 years of hire.
32 Hours Per Week. |
