Description: |
| The Junior Accountant assists in accounting, analysis, and reporting related to the Department of Mental Health DMH) contract, including: productivity monitoring, analysis of DMH and Non-DMH monthly and year-end cost reports based on cost reimbursement. Assist in preparation of periodic financial reporting and monitoring requirements to various funding sources. Assists in general accounting functions - A/P, A/R, and GL. Cash receipts, and financial analysis. Perform bank reconciliation. Perform on going various account analysis and reconciliation for Fiscal control and management purposes. Assists in month-end and year-end closings. Assists in maintaining budgetary accounting and reporting systems. |
Qualifications: |
General accounting or related experience. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access & Filemaker Pro.
Prior experience with Solomon Accounting System, preferred.
College degree preferred.
