LOCAL CANDIDATES PLEASE!!!!!

Teradata Data Modeler/DBA Update: ****** I need to make sure that the person has experience with Postgres 8.x and the development of views, functions, triggers, etc We will be doing implementation and procedures for both a Postgres and Teradata DB. So, I am upping Postgres as a requirement. If we can not find any resumes with both Teradata V2R6+ and Postgres 8.x+, then I may have to get two contractors, one postgres and one Teradata and see which one can handle both DBA tasks long term.

This is a contract to hire position.

This person needs to have recent experience as a Teradata V2R6.0.2 (and above) DBA and Data Modeler. (V2R5.1.2 experience can be considered, but will be lower priority) The person knows both physical as well as logical modeling with Teradata. This modeling includes recent experienced use of ERWIN 4.X (and above, 3.5.2 can be considered but not preferred). The person is accomplished in the use of Teradata SQL, Stored Procedures, macro’s and views and has a sound relational DB skills foundation. They should have accomplished use of Teradata Manager and knowledge of use of DBQL and Priority Schedular. The perfect candidate also has near recent experience using Postgres 8.x.
