Accounts Receivable / Collections Manager

Description:

Reporting to the Sr. Accounting Manager, the Accounts Receivable / Collections Manager, is responsible for the management of the funds along with managing the Accounts Receivable department.

Duties:

• Manage credit and collections process to decrease DSO
• Develop recommendations to improve controls and drive efficiency throughout the Accounts Receivable and Treasury functions.
• Cash flow forecasting - develop 12-month rolling forecast based upon knowledge of business plans and analytical skills.
• Maintain cash application team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of incoming payments and application to accounts receivable.
• Compile, review and manage the unapplied cash report to gauge the status of cash application and completeness verification.
• Drive innovation in processes and procedures, leveraging our SAP system and banking partner where possible.
• Provide control and policy training to the Accounts Receivable staff.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of equivalent work experience desired
• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance or related field.
• ERP system experience; preferably SAP
• Accounts Receivable experience with a focus on increasing efficiency and accuracy.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with others in different functional areas.
• Display a willingness to work hard to accomplish what is necessary for the success of the team and the Company.
• Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Possess a strong ability to lead and execute.
• Possess excellent organization and communication skills and the ability to work as a team player.
• Have the ability to work effectively and independently while managing concurrent deadlines and multiple priorities.
